Chef Marianne Lumb began her classical training in restaurants, including the Michelin starred Gravetye Manor. From 2000 she worked as a private chef in the UK, Mediterranean, America and Australia, where she gained extensive knowledge of the local, seasonal food. In 2009 Marianne reached the finals of MasterChef the Professionals series 2, and also published her first book “Kitchen Knife Skills”.
In September 2013, Marianne took the leap of faith and opened a 14 cover restaurant in Notting Hill with a team of three. The following month Marianne was crowned “London Restaurant Festival Chef of the Year 2013”, and in 2017 the restaurant is listed at no.33 in the UK Good Food Guide Top 100. Restaurant Marianne was recently voted ‘Top Gastronomic Experience in London’ by Harden’s guide.
The restaurant continues to evolve, offering bespoke menus that highlight the most beautiful, seasonal produce.
